- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I met Chuck Leighton at a business networking group a few years ago. I had his agency check on a price for homeowners insurance for me that at matched or exceeded the coverage that I had in place. I'd been using another firm for about 28 years for homeowners insurance. Chuck came back with a price of about half of what I had been paying. We went with Leighton for our homeowner's insurance, then wound up moving from a major national agency to Leighton Insurance for our cars as well. We now also use them for our business insurance coverage. While away on vacation in January, we had an appliance hose let go and found major water damage upon our return. Erie, the company who underwrote the homeowner's insurance policy, immediately sent a claims adjuster. He was extremely fair, and Erie covered remediation (removal of damaged items), drying (6 days worth of multiple heavy drying machines), and restoration to new condition. I am pleased with Leighton Insurance Agency, Chuck Erie Insurance, and the entire process. We plan on using the agency for all of our future insurance needs.By Jerold Jacobsen, March 29, 2017
